French President Emmanuel Macron has deployed 7,000 soldiers for increased security patrols in response to bomb alerts and an Islamist attack. The Louvre museum, Palace of Versailles, and Paris' Gare de Lyon train station were evacuated due to false alarms. Macron's office announced that the soldiers would be deployed until further notice as part of an ongoing security operation.
